If you have an item that you would like to make available in the BioSci Tool Loans, please send an email to the Core (use "
Contact Us"), including the item name, a description of the item (or image), your contact information, and the general terms under which a loan could occur. Interested parties will see your item listed here; they will negotiate the terms of the loan directly with you.
Loan conditions
Loans for GC items are requested through the BioSci Tool Loans. For items from other BioSci labs, requests for those items must be made directly with the specified lab.
Loans for Genomics Core (GC) items are initially free; after 3 business days, reimbursement charges may apply (inquire). For items from other BioSci labs, terms and conditions of the loan (including any potential charges) are at their discretion.
GC Loan items are limited; inquire in advance (in person or by email, Genomics Core) if your desired date/time is critical.
When you submit your online request for a GC Loan item, you will be required to acknowledge the following points:(1) Loan item availability is limited; thus, items might be unavailable for the requested day/time. (2) Loan items must be returned in same condition as dispensed; otherwise, additional reimbursement charges (up to replacement cost) may apply. (3) Loan items must be returned on-time or the loan must be renewed beforehand. (4) Core may be closed at any time, unless you are arriving by appointment.
